Introduction

Satilor main business is focused on providing services and products in the field of cyber resilience and privacy. We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive information from children.

We understand that you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that seriously. This Privacy Notice describes the Satilor’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data and sets forth your privacy rights. We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies. For any changes in the Privacy Notice that relates to your rights you will be notified in advance through the appropriate communication channel you consented to provide for such purposes.

How we collect and use (process) your personal information

Satilor collects personal information about its customers. With a few exceptions, this information is limited to the kinds of information that can be found on a business card: name, job title, company name, work email, and work phone number. We use this information to provide corporate content and respond to inquiries from our customers. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Your correspondence with Satilor

If you correspond with us by email, the postal service, or other form of communication, we may retain such correspondence and the information contained in it and use it to respond to your inquiry; to notify you of Satilor publications, or other services if consent is priory obtained; or to keep a record of your complaint, any other request, and the like. When you use our website contact form, we use anti-bot technology (Google reCapcha 2.0) prior to your submission to detect malicious activities and potential “denial-of-service” attacks and for verification that the submission is done by a person. To honor the principles of transparency and fair processing we do that only with your explicit consent to load the anti-bot technology. As always, if you wish to have Satilor “erase” your personal information or otherwise refrain from communicating with you, please contact us at  info@satilor.com.

Note: if you ask the Satilor not to contact you by email at a certain email address, Satilor will retain a copy of that email address on its “master do not send” list in order to comply with your no-contact request.

Purposes for processing your data

As explained above, sometimes Satilor has a legitimate interest in processing personal data to deliver website content with industry standards for performance. Sometimes Satilor, has a legitimate interest in processing personal data to provide resistance to malicious activities and “denial of service” attacks.

Most of the time, Satilor needs to process your personal data (name and contact information) to fulfill a communication inquiry. And sometimes, Satilor relies upon your consent, in which case we will keep a record of it and honor your choices.

Personal information we get from third parties

We do not collect personal information from third parties.

What happens if you don’t give us your data

You can enjoy all the content on our corporate website without giving us your personal data. You can even enter only minimal amount of information (name and contact information) on our contact form, required for replying back to you on any inquiry you may have. We unfortunately cannot process the submission of your inquiry trough the contact form unless the anti-bot technology we are using verifies that the submission is done by a person. Information collected through “cookies” (described in detail in the Cookie Notice here) is strictly necessary for performance optimization of our corporate website content delivery.

Satilor has legitimate interest to provide information on its corporate website according to the industry standards, users expectations and adequate cyber resilience mechanism.

Use of the satilor.com website

As is true of most other websites, Satilor’s website collects certain information automatically and stores it in log files. The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system and other usage information about the use of Satilor’s website, including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website, analyze trends, track visitor movements, and gather broad demographic information that assists us in identifying visitor preferences.

Satilor has a legitimate interest in understanding how members, customers and potential customers use its website. This assists Satilor with providing more relevant products and services, with communicating value to our sponsors, and with providing appropriate staffing to meet customer needs.

Do not track

Satilor also keeps a record of third party websites accessed when a user is on Satilor site and clicks on a hyperlink. But Satilor does not track users to subsequent sites and does not serve targeted advertising to them. Satilor does not, therefore, respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

When and how we share information with others

The personal information Satilor collects from you is stored and protected in one or more databases hosted by third parties cloud services located in the European Union. These third parties do not use or have access to your personal information for any purpose other than cloud storage and retrieval.

We do not otherwise reveal your personal data to third-parties for their independent use unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to comply with the law (for example, to comply with a search warrant, subpoena or court order), enforce an agreement we have with you, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or the rights, property or safety of our employees or others; (3) the information is provided to our service providers who perform functions on our behalf; (4) to address emergencies or acts of God; or (5) to address disputes, claims, or to persons demonstrating legal authority to act on your behalf. We may also gather aggregated data about our members and Site visitors and disclose the results of such aggregated (but not personally identifiable) information to our partners, service providers, advertisers and/or other third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Transferring personal data to third countries outside EU

Satilor has its headquarters in the European Union. Information we collect from you will be processed in the European Union. Satilor operates solely in European Union and by virtue we do not transfer personal data outside European Union. In rare cases that we might do so, Satilor collects and transfers to third countries personal data only: with your consent; to perform a contract with you; or to fulfill a compelling legitimate interest of Satilor in a manner that does not outweigh your rights and freedoms. Satilor endeavors to apply suitable safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your personal data and to use it only consistent with your relationship with Satilor and the practices described in this Privacy Notice. Satilor also enters into data processing agreements and model clauses with its vendors whenever feasible and appropriate.

You may request that Satilor erase that data or cease processing it, subject to certain exceptions. You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data when specific grounds apply. You may also request that Satilor cease using your data for direct marketing purposes. You have a right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority if you have concerns about how Satilor processes your personal data. If access cannot be provided within a reasonable time frame, Satilor will provide you with a date when the information will be provided. If for some reason access is denied, Satilor will provide an explanation as to why access has been denied.

Security of your information

To help protect the privacy of data and personally identifiable information you transmit through use of this Site, we maintain physical, technical, administrative safeguards and comprehensive process for vendor management. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. We restrict access to your personal data to those employees who need to know that information to provide benefits or services to you. In addition, we train our employees about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information. Data storage and retention

Your personal data is stored by Satilor on the servers of the cloud-based database management services Satilor engages, located in the European Union. Satilor retains data for the duration of the customer’s business relationship with Satilor and for the duration required for the satisfaction of tax law control and reporting obligations. Changes and updates to the Privacy Notice

By using this Site, you agree to the terms and conditions contained in this Privacy Notice and Conditions of Use and/or any other agreement that we might have with you. If you do not agree to any of these terms and conditions, you should not use this Site or any Satilor benefits or services. You agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this Privacy Notice and Conditions of Use, or any other agreement we have with you, will be governed by the laws of Bulgaria. You also agree to arbitrate such disputes in Bulgaria, and to abide by any limitation on damages contained in any agreement we may have with you.
